Terms & Conditions
There is a 3 day turnaround time for Dry Cleaning and Laundry. Express delivery (2 days) is available for an additional fee. There's a $25 minimum charge due at booking. All outstanding invoices are due by drop-off / delivery date, which will be indicated on the customer itemized invoice.
You will be billed a $25 cancellation fee for services that are cancelled less than 24 hours before appointment time. If cancellation is made 24 hours prior to your scheduled pickup time, your $25 deposit will be refunded.
Wash & Fold
The Laundry Room use reasonable efforts to provide high quality service. By using our services, you are agreeing that your garments are suitable to be washed in water on a normal cycle and dried using heat in a tumble dryer. The Laundry Room accepts no liability for damage to clothing that is not suitable for this standard laundering process. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse to clean any garment that we feel maybe hazardous to our staff, such as items that are heavily soled with human or animal waste. The Laundry Room does not guarantee the removal of all stains; however we will try our absolute best.
The Laundry Room will use reasonable efforts to maintain a high-quality cleaning service. We accept no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of items without care instructions and accept no liability for items treated in accordance with the care labels or other instructions provided. We accept no liability for "special care" items that include special attention to be cleaned or that do not have care instructions. The Laundry Room is not responsible for clothing bleeding, shrinking, or otherwise changing as a result of normal dry cleaning procedures. Precautions will be taken to alleviate these problems if possible. The Laundry Room reserves the right to refuse to clean any garment. The Laundry Room does not guarantee the removal of all stains; however, we will try our absolute best.
Damaged /Lost Items
The Laundry Room is not responsible for the loss of or damage to any personal items left in the clothing or laundry bags such as money, jewelry, or any other item. However, if we do come across your personal items we will return them to you. We take pride in our work so we will do everything to avoid damaging your garments. To help us provide you with the best experience please check the pockets of your garments in advance for lipstick, gum, pens, etc.
Normal wear and tear are inevitable regardless of how gentle the laundering process is. As a result, we cannot be responsible for wear and tear, including loss of buttons, fading, holes, bleeding of dye, abrasions, shrinking and etc. as a result of normal washing procedures. Please note we reserve the right to decline cleaning any item if we think it can potentially lead to damage.
Unfortunately, we are unable to inventory every piece of laundry. As a result, we can't be held responsible for any lost laundry; we simply have no efficient way of verifying that we actually received any particular piece of laundry. However, if you do believe you are missing something from your delivery, please notify us within 24 hours of receiving your clean clothes — we are much more likely to find misplaced laundry if it is reported immediately.
Please notify us upon scheduling your pickup in the note section of any allergies. We have several detergent options for people with allergies. Otherwise, we use premium detergents, fabric softener, dryer sheets and bleach upon request. It is also possible, that small amounts of other detergents, which may not be hypoallergenic, were previously used in the same machines and may not be completely rinsed out of these washing machines.
